The United Federal Assembly appoints the FAC's 73 judges, usually for a term of office of six years.
The Plenary Court is responsible for assigning judges to individual FAC divisions. These judges receive support from around 240 court clerks, who assist with decision-making and drafting of judgments. The FAC is comprised of six divisions, each devoted to specific areas.
