Position statement: Weltwoche article of 5 November
On 5 November, the Weltwoche published another article about the Federal Administrative Court. The article repeated previous allegations which had already been declared incorrect. The Court responds to these, reaffirming its position.
The Court expresses its concern about the nature of the latest coverage in the Weltwoche. The article published on 5 November under the title “Unterwegs zum Richterstaat” (Towards juristocracy) contains largely repeated accusations that are factually incorrect. In addition, the Court refers to its position statement of 4 March 2025 which it upholds and confirms.
The Federal Administrative Court respects the freedom of the press as an important component of a democratic society. At the same time, the Court wishes to ensure that the public is objectively and accurately informed about its activities. The Presidium is currently examining how to further strengthen its communication work
