The head of the court administration, together with her deputy, leads the General Secretariat. Under her remit are the divisional heads of the six departments. In addition, the Executive Secretary ensures the coordination of administrative tasks with the other federal courts and the federal administration.
In her role as Secretary to the Plenary Court, the Presidential Council and the Administrative Commission, the Executive Secretary participates in the meetings of the executive bodies in an advisory capacity. She is responsible for preparing the proceedings and implementing the resolutions. Together with the FAC President, she represents the affairs of the executive bodies before the supervisory and federal supervisory bodies.
The Executive Secretary is supported by an administrative department.
Deputy Executive Secretary
The deputy Executive Secretary represents Executive Secretary in all matters. He manages the Legal Services Division and the staff office “Central Chancellery”. He is also responsible for jurisprudence support.
Jurisprudence support supports the executive bodies of the court and the divisions in coordination tasks. The Central Chancellery ensures the document cycle within the Federal Administrative Court. Other areas of responsibility include post, registry, archive and data management.
